Kostenski waterfall
The Kostenski Waterfall is situated on the river Chavcha in the center of the resort area Vili Kostenets (southwest of the village of Kostenets). This is the biggest natural tourist attraction in the municipality Kostenets and there is well marked path to it.
The waterfall is very beautiful (especially in the spring when the river has high-water) and was praised by the "Patriarch of the Bulgarian literature" Ivan Vazov in his books "What sings the mountain" and "Kostenets - travel notes". The Water falls from a height about 10 meters and there are small caves around .
In the rocks to the Kostenski Falls was excavated a bath with hot mineral water and seven springs. It has used for a long time by the local people but later was destroyed in an earthquake.
In 1974 the area was declared a Natural landmark.
