The healing spring

"The healing spring", as it is called by the local people, is one of the largest attractions of village of Vardun. The spring is desolated and far away from the village, but enjoys the enviable glory, because the people believe its water can cure and are useful for kidney and stomach problems.

According to a legend the spring is quite old, as once enjoyed primarily for watering cattle. The shepherds make their impression that the animals are always looking for this spring, and those that were sick, were healed quickly after drinking its water.

Gradually the spring began to be used by the people too, who made a small fountain and called the spring "healing". Years later there was built a large stone fountain.

Adjacent to the healing spring is another, who also allegedly helps with eye problems.
