The Museum of the Bulgarian Kiselo Mlyako (yoghurt) in village of Studen Izvor (municipality of Trun) was opened in 2007. It is housed in a building near the birth-house of Dr Stamen Grigorov - the creator of Lactobacillus bulgaricus - the unique bacteria underlying the production of Bulgarian kiselo mlyako (yogurt).
On the first floor of the museum was made a restoration of a typical Bulgarian house from the middle of XIX century.
On the second floor are located a library and an exhibition hall, where can be seen traditional tools used in the past (and in some Bulgarian villages and today) for preparation of the Kiselo Mlyako (yogurt); information boards, photos and documents about the history of yogurt; procedure for home made and for industrial production; information about the nutrition and healing functions of the Bulgarian Kiselo Mlyako; documents and information about Dr. Stamen Grigorov, etc.
