This Soldier`s monument in town of Breznik is located between the borders of the former military base. The monument is dedicated to died in the wars of 1912 - 1913, and 1915 - 1918 г. soldiers and officers from the V-Cavalry regiment. It was erected in 1923 after an idea of an organization committee consisting of members of the local officer`s community and relatives of dead soldiers from the region of Breznik.

The monument is the work of master from Sofia - Zaro Balkanski. It is made of white stone and has shape of pyramid with dimensions 180/80/80 cm. On its front side is written "ВЪ ПАМЯТЪ НА ПАДНАЛИТЪ ГЕРОИ ОТЪ 5 К ПОЛКЪ ПРЕЗЪ ВОЙНИТЪ 1912-1918 г" and the names of the awarded "medal for bravery". Each of the other sides is devoted to a separate battle, and there are written also the names of heroes who died in those battles.
