Vanga is a world famous Bulgarian prophetess. She was born on January 31, 1911 and died on August 11, 1996. Vanga was buried in Rupite area, near the church Saint Petka Bulgarska (built by her behest), not far away from her house, where she had accepted and helped to the sick and people in need.
