The fortress Momina kula is a late Antiquity and Medieval fortress. It is located in valley of Mesta river near village of Kremen (municipality of Bansko), in one of the most narrow and picturesque sections of Momina kula gorge. The fortress takes up an area of 500 m2. There are preserved remains from the western wall (where the entrance gate was located) with height of 8m, a rectangular tower with dimensions 5.40 x 6.20 m. at the eastern side and loopholes at the southern part of the fortress. Between findings in region of the fortress are also pieces of home made ceramics from V-VI and the XII-XIV centuries.
Fortress Momina kula is declared archaeological monument of national significance.
