The remains of the late-antique and medieval fortress "Malkoto Kale" are located few kilometers east of the village of Voden (municipality Bolyarovo, Yambol district). The fortification dates back to VI - XIV century and is a very interesting historical monument.

Near the fortress are located remains of a medieval monastery, that was a center of the mystical trend in Eastern Christianity - Hesychasm.
