The remains of "Buzovo castle" (also called "Kaleto") are located 2 km southeast of the village of Buzovgrad, at the northern slopes of three small hills of Stara Planina, at an altitude of about 560 meters. The fortress can be reached by well marked eco-trail.
It is believed that the castle was created in the early Byzantine times and in the Middle Ages it had an important role in guarding the road from Boruy to Kran and valley of Tunja river.
The walls of the fortress are almost completely destroyed but by the few remnants it could be suggested it had the shape of an irregular quadrangle and an area of 17 decares. Its masonry is stones soldered with white plaster, mixed with pieces of bricks. From the fortress are discovered parts of towers and foundations of buildings. Among the found artifacts in region of the site are coins of Constantine the Great (306-337 year), parts of the early Byzantine pottery (V - VI century) and pottery from the times of the Second Bulgarian kingdom (XII - XIV century).
