The Thracian cult complex Talim tash (translated from Turkish "The Soldiers stone") is situated near the road between village of Ticha and town of Kotel (about 10km south of Talim Tash), near the Urushkite rocks. The name of the locality comes from the fact that this was the place where in the past the Ottoman garrisons have been organized camps .
In the area there are "scattered" huge rocks, with carved altars and grooves of varying depth. It is assumed that this is the Thracian religious sacrificial complex related to the cult of the ancient Thracians to the sun. The scientists refer Tash Talim back to the first millennium BC.
Currently the stones are covered with mosses and shrubs but there still could be felt a kind of energy and mystique.
