"Elenina dupka" cave is located west of village of Byala Voda, 47 km south of Burgas, at road 98 "Burgas - Malko Tarnovo". Its natural entrance (it is claimed there is another entrance occurred during the construction of the road) is situated perpendicular to the road. It is narrow with a depth about 2 meters.
The cave is not suitable for mass tourism and in some sections there are cracks and precipices, and therefore should not be visited by amateur cavers or groups without an experienced guide.
According to one legend, in the long past times there was a dragon which kidnapped a beautiful young girl Elena. After some time people found Elena’s plaits scattered around the cave, so they decided to name the cave after the girl.
