The cave Snezhanka is located in the Batashka mountain, in the Western Rhodopi, some 5 km southwest of the town of Peshtera. It is one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria. Small as size and dimesion, Snejanka cave has numerous halls and is exceptionally rich in stalactites, stalagmites and draperies of varied outline. The cave derives its name from a nature-sculptured woman`s figure of snow-white crystal sinter in the Magic Hall.
