Memorial of perished for the Liberation of Bulgaria In Bulgarian: Паметник на загиналите за Освобождението на България Category: Memorial Location: Patalenitsa This Soldiers Memorial in village of Patalenica is dedicated to 28 local villagers who died heroically during the different Wars for Liberation of Bulgaria. It represents a large stone block with a cross on the top and a memorial plaque. At the back side of the monument there is a small fountain. The monument was built during the reign of BZNS party, but under the Socialism (in 1973) it was demolished because the cross. The memorial was restored again in 1992. Share
