Nature Phenomenon "The Petrified Forest" ("Vkamenenata gora") is located in area "Gabaz dere", northeast of the village of Raven and southwest of the village of Gurgulitsa. It occupies an area of about 75 decares and is a set of about 20 petrified trees with a height of 1 - 1.5 m and diameter 0.4 - 0.6 m (except two of them which have a diameter of 4 meters).

"Vkamenenat gora" near village of Raven is unique with the fact that the "trees" are erected. In the section of the trunks are clearly visible different annual rings. Some of the preserved tree branches were burned.

In 1970 the area was declared protected.
