This museum collection in town of Momchilgrad was created in 1969 and is the first in the Kardjali region. The museum is housed in the building of the community center "Nov Jovot" ("New Life"). The museum fund is about 1200 exhibits arranged in three sections: Archaeology, Ethnography and Nature.
