Rock phenomenon The Stone Wedding, Zimzelen

The "Stone Wedding" is magnificent natural phenomenon located south of village of Zimzelen (Eastern Rhodopes), 5km away from Kardzhali. Nature has left a very impressive stone formation which resembles a gathering of people, animals and birds.

There is an interesting legend about The Stone Wedding of Zemzelen.

In 1974, this miracle of nature was declared a protected site of national importance.
