The Sharapanas (from Turkish sharap - wine) near village of Nochevo are located not far away by the Thracian religious complex in Pamuk Kaya locality. These are two facilities, carved on monolithic rocks and representing stone reservoirs for liquids with grooves between them. It is believed that in ancient times they were served in producing of wine and used in various religious rituals (there are also theories that were used for washing the ore).
The facilities are located about 200 meters of each other, and one of them is relatively well preserved - two pools (tanks) and chutes. First of the tanks has a rectangular shape with rounded edges and is about 20 cm deep. The other tank has a shape of a hemisphere (diameter 0.80 m) and is 65 cm deep. The second pool has two visible grooves, which means there was an additional pool connected with it.
From the second sharapana is preserved only one of the tanks but the facility was with an impressive size. The tank is a rounded shape with a diameter of the circle about 180 cm and 30 cm in depth.
