Church "St. Athanasius", Belopolyane

The Church "St. Athanasius" in village of Belopolyane was built in 1838 and is a remarkable representative of the Bulgarian Renaissance religious architecture from the first half of XIX century.

It is a typical 3-nave pseudo basilica with pentagonal bell tower and rich relief sculptures on the exterior walls.
