In the area of Prapora near village of Altimir was build a monument "Stoyanov Grave" dedicated to one of Hristo Botev`s rebels, who in 1876 captured the ship Radetzky and get off on the Bulgarian Danube riverside to fight for the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman rule. The first victim of the detachment is Stoyan Voevoda, who died here in a firefight with the Circassians. In 1882 on his place of dead was made a memorial. Today the site is part of the memorial complex "Botev path".
