Cave Lepenishki pech (also known as Lepenitsa) is situated about 4 km southeast of town of Belogradchik and approximately 6 km northwest of the village Borovitsa, in area named "Markashnitsa". It is formed in reddish sandstone conglomerate and is a part of natural phenomenon "Belogradchik rocks". The probable age of the cave is about 230 million years. There is a well-marked eco-trail that lead to the cave.

The cave has an altitude of 500 meters, with 2 entrances facing east (the bottom one is covered with stone blocks). It is not deep and is almost lighted. There are two layers. The lower cultural layer is thin, covered with manure. Here were found fragments of broken pottery and animal bones.
