The Wine Museum in Pleven is located in a cave in the park Kaylaka, near the dam "Totlebenov val". It was opened in 2008 as a common project of team of Bulgarian and French architects, designers and oenologists.
The museum exhibition includes more than 7000 bottles of old and over 6000 bottles of modern wine, barrels, containers and tools from different ages used for the preparation, seasoning, serving and consumption of wine.
In the Museum of the wine the visitors will get an useful information and advices, in a form of lectures by specialists, and also will have the possibility (at extra cost) to try some of the wines.
