The monument "Mother Bulgaria" in Pleven was erected to mark the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Bulgaria. It is Located front of the Skobelev park-museum.
The statue was made by the sculptor Dimitar Boykov and the architect Atanas Atanasov. It represents a composition of a female figure, who breaks slave chains, and a stylized "century-old tree" in the background with a height of 27 m.
