Natural Science Museum

The Natural Science Museum in village of Cherni Osam (Troayn municipality) was established in 1956 by Iliya Hristov Iliev (the local teacher of Biology) who started to research and collect information to help his students from the Biology circle. Bit by bit the interesting collection starts to attracts many nature lovers from all over the country and in 1976 it was separated and displayed at in a building especially constructed for it.

In 1992 it obtained a statute of a "Natural Science" museum. Nowadays there are exhibited more than 700 exponents, separated in three halls.
