The monastery has an interesting architecture. The walls of the altar are semicircular, forming a trefoil. In the temple are preserved paintings from different periods: from XVIIc. (in the altar part) and from XIX century (inside the church - it is suggested they are works of Ivan Dospevski). There are preserved several valuable icons and an iconostasis, made in XIX century by a master from Teteven or Tryavna Art School. Some of the most valuable icons are "St. Elijah", "The Christ abstainer", "John the Baptist", "St. Constantine and Helena" and "Archangels Convention", dating back to XVIII century. Today there are no monks in the Teteven Monastery and does not functioning. It is was declared a cultural monument.
