Golyama Garvanitsa ("Big Garvanista") is an abyss cave located at 1.5 km northwest of the village of Gorsko Slivovo, about 300 meters left of the road to the village of Karpachevo.
Access to the the cave is by strong metal stairs. On the way down the route pass along a small cave room with beautiful rock formations. The galleries of the cave are filled with sediments of clay and mud, in denunciation of the ongoing runoff.
Cave and the region are developed by Letnitsa Municipality as a tourist destination. Around the impressive opening of the cave was built a wooden fence, following the outline of the precipice and there are made picnic corners with shelters, tables, benches and barbecues.
