The Thracian tomb near village of Gagovo is located about 700 meters north of the village center. The mound is part of a necropolis, to which belong two others tombs, situated north and northeast, and included in the land of the town of Opaka.
The tomb is a monumental architectural complex consisting of two round burial chambers with diameters 3.70 and 3.90 m, connected by a common entrance, a common rectangular burial chamber, a dromos an an extra room. Furthermore, the common entrance, each of cameras has its own additional entrance. The corridor (dromos) was added later to the necropolis. It is suggested that the tomb belongs to local Thracian ruler, but because the availability of two identical, adjacent to each other burial chambers, there is a suggestion that it was a double funeral and there are buried two Thracian aristocrats who have ruled together.
Until 2008 it was the only cemetery mound found in Bulgaria, with masonry stone tomb into it.
The Thracian mound near village of Gagovo is declared a monument of culture.
