The Military Museum "Vladimir Alexandrovich" (aka Museum "Headquarters of the Russian Danube Army in 1877") in village of Gorna Studena was opened on September 4, 1907 by an idea of Stoyan Zaimov and the Committee "Tsar Liberator". It is located in the summer house of the merchant Hadji Nikola Minchev where during the Russian - Turkish war was situated the Headquarters of the Russian Danube Army .
During the war there were resided several important persons as Emperor Alexander II, general Nikolai Nikolaevich , the Russian Minister of the Defense - Milyutin, Count Nikolai Pavlovich Ignatiev, Prince Vladimir Cherkazki and others.
The guests of the museum can see original weapons, objects and documents provided by the Russian command specifically for the museum.
