The Clock-Tower in Razgrad dates from 1864. It was built by Tryavna master Todor Tonchev, on the foundations of the old clock-tower, which was demolished because of problems in its structure.
The tower consists of three parts: the lowest and the middle parts are built of stone blocks and are separated each other with molding; the upper part is wooden and has octahedral structure with domed roof. The overall height of the tower is around 26 m and wall thickness is about 1 meter.
Most likely the bell was brought from Hungary in 1731 and has been used in the old tower too. The old clock mechanism is stored in the Historical Museum Razgrad and the current dating from the 70 years of the XX century.
